Fulton Rotary Club Raises Money for CASA
The Rotary Club of Fulton fed 174 people at its low country boil Sunday, raising about $1,800 for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which works with abused and/or neglected children in the foster care system, and other charitable causes. Fulton Rotary will use part of the proceeds to match an $1,100 grant from Rotary District 6080. Fulton Rotarians Bob Hansen, Bob Sterner, Jacque Cowherd and Denton M. Kurtz rebuilt the handicap-accessible ramp at Haven House. It was a big project, requiring lots of hours of labor, but so worthwhile.
